Fragile Roof Safety
Fragile Roof Safety is aimed at anyone working on fragile roofs or edges.Falls through fragile roofs causes serious injury and also death. Falling from a fragile roof accounts for almost a fifth of all fatal work at height related accidents. Deaths caused by falls through fragile surfaces occur mainly, to those working in the building maintenance sector, telecom sector, construction sector etc…, while carrying out small, short-term maintenance and cleaning jobs.
On an average 7 people die every month because of falling from a fragile surface. Many suffer permanent disablement.
The surfaces which are considered as fragile are
- Old asbestos sheets roof
- Corroded metal sheets roof
- Old Terracotta roofs
- Old concrete roofs
- Bamboo roofs
Force Tech has created a multipurpose training infra to train people to work safely at height on various fragile structures. The infra has been designed keeping in mind safety of participants. Activities and exercises on the structure will simulate real time scenarios as per real life situations. This program will ensure that participants can work safely and confidently on any fragile surface.
